P38: Texture missing? (Read 213 times)

KTack62 Rookie Flight Simmer Posts: 2 Gender:	P38: Texture missing? 02/22/10 at 14:06:48 Hello, I recently bought and installed the P38 set for FSX. Overall a very fine simulation, didn't dive into all details yet. But every now and then FSX pops up with a message saying Failed to load texture: REF.BMP This happens even in the flight config dialog and is very annoying during approach! What is wrong? Does it happen at the same airport or all airports? Off the top of my head I don't remember any textures named that in our package. Which makes me wonder if it might be a scenery texture that is trying to load.

Mainly after switching the view, but one or two times in cockpit view during flight. I got this message even in the animated plane preview in the flight setup dialog, when the textures are rendered for the first time. After clicking OK, the message box disappears and all is fine.
